Frontwave Arena, Oceanside’s state-of-the-art multiuse sports and entertainment venue, partnered with Katalyst Public Relations to create an ongoing PR campaign to position Frontwave Arena as a Southern California tourist destination; support sports tourism through earned local, regional and national media coverage; and promote Frontwave Arena’s year-round bookings of meetings, corporate off-sites, and private events through community relations and strategic partnerships.

Katalyst PR developed a holistic media strategy to earn placement in print and digital publications and secure broadcast segments in local and regional markets. Additionally, Katalyst PR leveraged strong relationships with Visit Oceanside and Visit California to align on media targets for regional and national coverage and support efforts around sports tourism in California.

Additionally, Frontwave Arena CEO Josh Elias was awarded the San Diego Business Journal Leaders of Influence in Sports Business 2025.
