The Guild Hotel Tribute Portfolio, Downtown Columbia District

The Guild Hotel is a stately cornerstone of San Diego’s downtown neighborhood, steps from the Santa Fe Depot and Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego. Originally created in 1924 as a place for people to socialize and connect as a Navy and Army YMCA, the property has since been carefully restored and distinctly modernized into a welcoming boutique hotel that opened in 2019. High design and elegance are the draw at The Guild, where the rooms are minimalist, but with whimsical touches. The bar at the Guild offers Intelligentsia coffee and local pastries in the morning for guests and in the evening is transformed into a destination, where black and white movies are projected while craft cocktails inspired by prohibition stories are poured and guests sink into the luxurious velvet banquet. The Green Room Hotel, Oceanside

The Green Room Hotel, originally a motel built in the 1940s, has been given a second life as a modernized bungalow-style boutique hotel that opened in July 2021. Each room features custom art from local artists, found pieces of mid-century modern furnishings, unique Moroccan rugs, playful bathroom tiling, and in some units, kitchenettes with whimsical touches like retro-style appliances and private patios with outdoor seating. Located in one of California’s most booming neighborhoods, The Green Room Hotel is a place for the most diverse, eclectic, creative community members and travelers to come together. The founders have compiled a list of go-to local surf breaks, restaurants and coffee shops onto a map found in each room.

Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa, La Jolla

A true escape, Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa is a hacienda-style retreat situated on 10 acres between San Diego’s seaside villages of La Jolla and Del Mar, designed to renew and inspire.
